(We are very proud to announce the release of the second album by THE BACKDOOR SOCIETY, "This is Nowhere".
Two years after their self-titled debut LP, the band from Piacenza offers us a bunch of new songs whose common thread is the 60’s Dutch Beat, with echoes of wild R&B à la Pretty Things, and a lot of rock’n’roll played at crazy speed.
If you loved the rough and powerful sound of their first album, you can’t help but be carried away by the new one.

A distanza di due anni dall’esordio omonimo, la band Piacentina ci propone
una carrellata di nuove canzoni che hanno come filo conduttore il beat olandese di matrice sixties
con echi di rhythm and blues alla Pretty Things e tanto rock’n’roll sparato a velocità folle.
Se avete amato il suono ruvido e potente del primo album non potete fare altro che farvi trasportare da questi nuovi brani, chiudere gli occhi e catapultarvi in un fumoso club di Amsterdam nel 1966. ll disco è stato registrato dalla band in sala prove e mixato presso il SoundFreak Homestudio a Piacenza da Denis Cassi.
