nvisible Cities is considered a mature album, featuring an experimental take on punk that, at times, recalls some of the ideas explored by Franti. The record is deeply rooted in punk existentialism, which comes through especially in La mia faccia, the anguished nihilism of Non c’è scampo, and the ballad È difficile, about the passing of time and the struggle to remain true to yourself.

The album also contains another nod to Hüsker Dü, particularly in the melodic hardcore of Il tempo passa and Il nostro forte.
