The Crimson Shadows are a legendary garage rock band from Stockholm, Sweden, whose wild energy and authentic sound made them cult heroes of the mid-1980s Swedish garage rock revival. Formed in late 1984 by Jens Lindberg (bass, vocals), Peter Maniette (vocals, organ), M\u00e5ns P. M\u00e5nsson (guitar, vocals), and Johan Maniette (drums), the band quickly carved out a name for themselves with fuzz-driven guitars, pounding rhythms, Farfisa organ swirls, and a stage presence that brought the spirit of 1966 roaring back to life.
\nFrom the start, The Crimson Shadows stood apart by writing original material rather than relying solely on covers. \u201cWhen I\u2019m Going Away\u201d and \u201cEven I Tell Lies\u201d were both released in 1985 in extremely limited pressings and quickly became collector\u2019s items, earning the band underground acclaim across Europe.
