The record develops along those lines while also drawing from punk, Gun Club, Cramps, The X, psychedelia, the Rolling Stones, and Bo Diddley. It closes with the lyrics of \u201cNot Moving\u201d by Arto Lindsay\u2019s DNA, a track from No New York\u2014the album from which the band took its name.<\/p>\n
Since their first concerts in 1981 and their recording debut in 1982, Rita Lilith Oberti, Dome La Muerte, and Antonio Bacciocchi have consistently carried forward the spirit of the band. Even through long breaks and periods apart, Not Moving continued to live on through their individual solo projects, reissues, documentaries, a live recording from the 1980s, and a brief reunion between 2005 and 2006. In 2017, they reunited once more, releasing a new album and performing around a hundred concerts across Italy.<\/p>\n
