After a few line-up changes they went to Outlaw Studios in Birmingham to embark on what would eventually turn out to be their first single &#8216;Gordon&#8217;. After the &#8216;Burning Bridges\u2019 and \u2018Precinct\u2019 singles it was time to record an album. For one week in 1980 the band relocated to Torquay, recording The Cravats In Toytown album on an 8-track in a hotel basement.
