The release of the first record was followed by an intense live activity, including opening acts for surf music legends such as Paul Johnson of Bel-Airs, Messer Chups and Satan’s Pilgrims, and some great live gigs during various editions of the Surfer Joe Summer Festival in Livorno (Italy), a not-be-missed event for all Surf music fans. That’s how they knew they were on the right track, and why they’ve become even more determined to continue with their mix of original Surf, exotica and instrumental R’n’R in Las Vegas Grind style.<\/p>\n

TRACK LIST: <\/strong><\/p>\n Bertrand Tappaz – Chronique 2016 – 07\/02\/2016 – VOIX DE GARAGE GRENOBLE<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n Je ne suis pas le gars le plus accro à la Surf Music instru, mais de temps en temps je me laisse embarquer par un disque. Le plus souvent c’est parce qu’il a un univers un peu plus large que celui des musiciens appliqués qui trop souvent peuplent cette scène. Et c’est le cas avec les italiens de Diabolico Coupé ! De retour avec ce 2 ème album ils conjuguent allègrement des thèmes \u2018classiques’ de la Surf instru (en plus ils jouent masqués sur scène), avec des titres qui pourraient être échappés des compil Las Vegas Grind <\/em>, ou de bandes originales de Film Noir. Leurs morceaux doivent beaucoup aux tricotages des deux guitaristes et à la présence d’un sax qui se coule parfaitement dans l’univers crée pour le sublimer (comme on dit en cuisine). Entre Surf Rock et Exotica, dans une ambiance parfois moite et sleazy, mais pouvant être tendu comme une séquence à suspens dans un Thriller… Bref le genre d’album brillement réalisé et mis en son qui vous tient jusqu’au bout !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" CD digipack
