Two Italian bands. Four rockabilly tracks. Di Maggio Connection has an amazing love affair with Reverend Horton-Heat, so much is rather scary, especially on “The Wildest Game”. Still, it’s pretty some exciting geetar fretting by Di Maggio. The Legendary Kid Combo’s “Silver River” is frantic banjo crazed cowpunk, like Rank & File on crystal meth, truly enjoyable. The cover of Johnny Cash’s “San Quentin” is a bit more subtle. All in all a damn fine release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
