Born in Forlì (Italy), the artist began his musical journey in the early 1980s within the local hardcore scene, playing in the band Niente. From the very beginning, his activity went beyond music, becoming part of a broader cultural and social movement that combined artistic production with grassroots engagement.
Alongside live performances, the collective was deeply involved in independent distribution of records and materials, participation in occupations, and a constant presence in social spaces across the Emilia-Romagna region. During this period, they also produced the fanzine “Up Your Ass”, a direct expression of the DIY ethos of the scene.
The band mainly performed locally, with occasional shows in Lombardy, until around 1988. After that, their musical direction shifted toward more experimental and avant-garde territories, drawing inspiration from movements such as Rock in Opposition.
This phase led to the creation of the cultural association Area Sismica, a venue dedicated to organizing concerts and promoting independent music, as well as the project Sisma, where the artist continued to play guitar.
Later, he formed the duo SCI (guitar and drums), focused on sonic exploration. Their music was characterized by a dynamic interplay between structured compositions and free improvisation, resulting in a highly expressive and evolving sound.
Over time, his work moved toward a more personal and studio-based approach, producing music with samplers and synthesizers, alongside occasional live appearances.
In recent years, his passion for high-gain sounds has resurfaced and remains a defining element of his current musical expression.
Not a young man anymore, yet still driven by a strong creative impulse, he continues his artistic journey with the feeling that he still has something to say.
