(His legendary 1959 debut for the Chicago Vee Jay label. The 12 tracks on this release were from 1955-1959 sessions. On 4 tracks he worked alone, playing guitar while pounding his foot on a convenient piece of plywood. Recorded authentically using a Telefunken U-47 microphone.
