Q - Chemical Overload 12"Ep
(Brand new 4 track EP on 12inch with a stripped-down sound full of energy, soul and imagination. These guys celebrate a mind blowing mix of 60's RockPop and late 70's/early 80's Mod Revival/post-punk UK. But it doesn't stop here. Once again The Q capture that working class edge - the scuffles and annoyances from our streets and society today. Produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers) the songs reminds to bands like the Damned, The Jam, Gang Of Four and the Godfathers to name a few!)

(RAY DAYTONA & THE GOOGOOBOMBOS are an Italian Band that have been playing their very own mixture of Surf, Punk, Garage and Psychedelic since the late 90s. Their surfguitars have a Punk Rock attitude which sounds somewhat influenced by THE CRAMPS, and the two singers Doctor Ds & Rosies voices combined with fast and energydriven rhythm and drums just are great Grarage-Punk. Their new album CABALLERO consists among others of instrumental songs, their great special combination of Surfmusic and wild Rocknroll, which unquestionably works; fast, energetic songs like "Dopamine" or on the other hand their dramatic and a bit more classical surf piece "Mojito Lounge" can only prove this. "Told me not to run" or "Walking down the line" are examples of their wild and punky vocal songs, which are no less convincing than their instrumentals)

Suzy & Los Quattro - The Singles Cd
(In two years, Suzy & Los Quattro developed from the time-killing just-for-fun project of Barcelona (Spain) sweethearts BB & Suzy Quattro, to 2005 powerpop sensation with their solid gold debut on No Tomorrow Records, from recording demos in their bedroom to touring Japan in support of their first album "Ready to Go!". It is now a year since they released their debut and it looks like Miss Suzy and her boys will take some more months to give us their next album, so to make the wait shorter weve decided to compile all the tracks they released before the LP in singles, E.P.s (all deleted now) and comps in this nice low-priced CD. The CD includes the five tracks of their debut CD-EP, the two excellent tracks from their single with ex - Adverts frontman T.V. Smith, two songs from their long-deleted single for Screaming Apple Records and two songs taken from compilations: their D.D. Ramone tribute song "Im not glad to see you go" and their excellent Twisted Sister by way of Joan Jett cover of "Were not gonna take it" a live show-stopper since their first shows"!)

Though the band's influences are closer to the 80's sound of the Miracle Workers or the Untold Fables, it's a cover of a 60's garage-punk classic, 60 Second Swinger by Little Phil & The Night Shadows, that can be found on the B-Side. An outrageous rendition of the song, that fits perfectly on this new 60SS' release.

That's not to say they've not been busy - Singer guitarist Steve E. Nix and bassist Steve Kicks have released three albums in the last decade by their other band The Cute Lepers. Where The Cute Lepers records feature some added power-pop drive, The Briefs are closer in spirit to pure '77 punk - loud, raucous and fierce, yet cohesive, hooky and hilarious.
They have so much energy, it's hard to believe they're from Seattle, the city that put lattes and flannel on the map. The Briefs still make Seattle their home, but they've come a long way since their debut record, and they're still cranking out hits. One of the hardest working bands in America. They'll play any time, anywhere!
The band formed in 2000 and originally consisted of Daniel J. Travanti (guitar/vocals), Steve E. Nix (guitar/vocals), Lance Romance (bass/vocals) and Chris Brief (drums/vocals). They released their first full-length album, Hit After Hit, in 2000 on Dirtnap Records. The band was courted by and reportedly signed with major label Interscope Records, following their 2002 release of Off the Charts, but that deal later fell through.
The Briefs re-surfaced on California's BYO Records with the release of 2004's Sex Objects and the reissue of their Dirtnap-era LPs. In 2004, the Briefs went on a European tour without Lance Romance, who stayed behind to get his GED. In his place went bassist Steve Kicks of Vancouver, British Columbia's band, New Town Animals. In 1995 Plain and Bath were chose by the living legend Ian Hunter (Mott The Hoople) to write, perform and even share vocal duties on his 1995 Dirty Laundry. In 2015 the band decide to record a new version of "Scars", song they penned for the "Dirty Laundry" record, with Bath on main vocals and to revisit Jagger, Richards timeless classic "Tell Me".
Side B:
Lester Greenowski (Lester and the Landslide Ladies, Honest John Plain, The Crybabys) is back with two brand new songs written and recorded on the road in between tours. After almost 15 years on the scene, gigs, releases, collaborations and overall the seal of approval of both critics and audience Greenowski confirmed himself, among his generation, as one of the best in what he does: rock and roll. So if it's rock and roll what you looking for that's exactly what you'll get with "On The Autobahn" and "Again", the new numbers you will find on this split, get ready for a good time)

The Deadbeats - Long Hard Nights Lp
("This is the type of thing that often gets called garage-rock but which really isn't. It's actually coming more from that sorta riff-laden post-beat/post-psych but pre-punk rock'n'roll kind of sound. If I want to be lazy I could say it's a mixture of The Datsuns and Kings of Leon. But, yeah, that is very lazy. There's more to The Deadbeats than that. As a band they are quite capable of standing up on their own without such comparisons. These guys are, I think, coming up with tunes that ought to be able to get more mainstream attention than the stuff I usually get to listen to. Yeah, they've got songs. They play 'em well. They've got some personality. They've got what it takes. If you like fellow Swedish bands like Mando Diao or The Sewergrooves, then you'll dig The Deadbeats too" taken from Shindig review and made from Murray Abisch)

The El Caminos debut album "Knock'em Out" was released in 1995.
The band's mission statement: "pursuing the sounds of 1960s surf music without limits" embodies their sound. The El Caminos started to receive attention from surf instrumental enthusiasts, not only in Japan but throughout the world.
Their second album, "Surfer's Lounge" was released in June of 1996 and attracted attention from surf music fans overseas.
The El Caminos released a best album called "Reverb Explosion" in August of 1997 on the legendary DEL-FI Records, a label that has a very special place in the heart of Eddie. All 15 tracks were personally selected by label founder Bob Keane for a US release. The album stirred up a great response: the track "Sumo Wrestler" even reached the number one spot on the chart of a college radio station on the West Coast.
The El Caminos experienced several changes in membership over the years and continued their activities at a slow pace.
In 2005, the band released their third album "Beatrama". In 2013, the band played their first show overseas at the Surf Guitar 101 Convention)

(Detour records are proud to announce their latest release on the 'paisley archive' label.... Hailing from accrington, lancashire 'the itch' shouldn't need any introduction as they have been around since 1992. We first became aware of the band when we received a phone call out of the blue from sham 69's front man jimmy pursey. At the time, he was working with the band and was trying to obtain a record deal for them. He described the band as up-tempo with a tamla motown beat going on....To cut a long story short, we signed the band up and released their debut single 'wigan to brighton' in september 1995. Two years later we then released the bands debut 'avenue parade' album in june 1997. The cd version of this album sold out within months of being released. In hindsight, we should of pressed more cds than the vinyl version as the vinyl version is still available. Since then, the band have been constantly gigging and self funding their own releases and selling them at gigs to eager fans. This much needed release rounds up everything the band have recorded to date and even includes the early jimmy pursey demo along with unreleased recordings. In the past, the band have worked with ian page of secret affair, chris pope of the chords, phil hendriks of the stiffs.

The Jack Cades - Perfect View LP
(The Jack Cades formed in 2017 when their first mini LP was recorded at North Down Sound in Kent, UK. At this time it was just two people (Mike & Elsa) wanting to record a few songs they had written. They asked Mole (State Records, The Embrooks) to join them on drums and John Gibbs (The Masonics, Wildebeests) to join them on bass for the session. Their sound is raw, influenced by rhythm n blues and 60s garage punk. When they decided to carry on as a bandthis required a full time bass player at which point they brought in Alexandra Cools (Speedball Jr.) and The Jack Cades were born.
The band has always been hugely influenced by the sounds of the 60s, mainly US garage and UK beat bands from that time, but they are also influenced by a wide range of bands from different eras, some more modern, such as The Stone Roses for example.
In April 2019, they decided to go record the 11 songs that would form their new album Perfect View with Liam Watson at Toe Rag Records in London. Liam completely understood what they were trying to achieve. The result is powerful listen, and you will see!)

Now here they are ... The Last Killers, a shaggy and bloodthirsty quartet from Ravenna, Italy. If their background, in addition to the gang's recent efforts, smelt of the noblest of 60's Garage persuasions, The Last Killers channel the history of the Rock'n'Roll groove as homage to the classic savagery of Little Richard or The Sonics and bear the torch last carried by none other than the Jim Jones Revue. With "Dangerous", our Trans-Alpiners unleash their demons without restraint and fire off a flurry of hits right out of the gate! The 60's organ lines that haunted their first release leave more room for frantic piano parts ( la "The Killer", Jerry Lee Lewis), the beat gets straight to the point without embellishment or flourish, the guitars spread in all directions, fuzzy and distorted, the nasty and rabid vocals erupt, reminiscent of the good ol' Gerry Roslie days... (The second singles shows new sides and comes with two original pieces. There's more psych to the sound and the arrangements are more sophisticated. On a bed of fuzz riffs, alarmed organ and with a decent tempo LOVERS' WASTELAND tells the story of the end of a relationship. Disillusioned insight pervades the song in a repeating musical motive and rides toward an inevitable finale. The solution for the proposed problem in TIDES is not that simple. With that in mind, the band takes more time to describe in weltering rhythm how hard it can be to clarify your own needs. An environment for contemplation is created with extra long guitar solos, a wonderful tambourine pattern and a drum break that starts the song. If you have seen this lively party gang during one of last year's many festival gigs, then you know it is time to get this single while it's hot. Also it will make the time before the upcoming full-length pass more quickly...)

The Milkshakes - Talkin Bout / After School Session CD digipack
(When punk rock group the Pop Rivets broke up in 1980, Billy Childish joined forces with Mickey Hampshire, a Pop Rivets roadie who had been performing in a group called Mickey and the Milkshakes with his cohort Banana Bertie. The two began writing songs together and the group released their first LP, Talking 'bout Milkshakes! in 1981. With Childish and Hampshire sharing guitar and vocal duties, Bruce Brand on drums, and Bertie on bass (later replaced by Russ Wilkins then John Agnew), the Milkshakes' sound was a primitive blend of British beat groups, like the early Kinks at their toughest, and hard-rocking American guitar instrumentalists like Link Wray. This sound came to be known as the “Medway sound” and the core members have been playing a variation on it throughout their whole careers.
The Milkshakes were a very prolific group, recording nine records in their four years together, and the band was very much a blend of Childish's primitive songwriting and Hampshire's more melodic leanings. The group also masterminded and backed a Medway girl group, the Delmonas.
When Mickey left The Milkshakes in 1984 Childish, Brand and Agnew went on to form Thee Mighty Caesars. Mickey and Bruce now play in The Masonics along with Ludella Black from The Del Monas, and Russ lives in Scotland and fronts the Wildebeests as well as being Lord Rochester.

From potent opener "Portions of the Whole" and the tightly wrapped "Pimp Killer" to closer "Shock Theatre", Snitches Get Stitches is full of cinderblock guitars, 55-gallon drums, warehouse bass, and sneering vociferous vocals, all delivered with the kind of oomph that landed the band an opening slot for Slaughter & the Dogs. Packed with 12 toe-tapping originals -- like the done-wrong "Happy" and the existential crisis of "Human Bondage" -- Snitches distinguishes the Ritchie Whites from other like-minded heavy outfits thanks to the entire group contributing vocals. "Honky Tonk Satisfaction" implies that the band's been soaking up Motörhead, and "Bush League Rock Star" is a tribute to the Ramones. Closer "Shock Theatre" demonstrates that the band can successfully deviate from the standard punk formula by adding sonic texture, an avenue they should explore more in the future. Embracing the punk aesthetic of short bursts of volumized music, half of the songs are under two minutes, hitting like a switchblade -- sharp, quick, and very much to the point. So short, in fact, that the entire album could nearly fit on one album side. Which is about the only critique a hard rockin' fan could have...)

Four tracks first of all played for fun. A tribute to the new garage-rock (Black Lips, Ty Segall &co.) mixed with good old days Libertines sound.

The result is the new garage sound widespread lately also in Europe, the Secret Tape are the Italian young spokesman!)

The Sha La La's - Soul Of The Nation 7"
(There is something very special about British RnB / Soul bands. Go back to The Action then to Dexy's Midnight Runners and now to The Sha La La's! They have a grit and style which wouldn't be out of place on Chess or Stax Records. Soul of the Nation is The Twisted Wheel, The Golden Torch and The Scene Club all rolled into a fantastic anthemic Soul / RnB single. A pounding bass line, thumping drums, a beautiful subtle guitar riff all weaved together by some wonderful Hammond Organ. Most definitely a summer anthem. <<< Only 250 copies pressed >>>)

After 13 years The Shake says goodbye with a final lp in which they leave their 60's garage and psychedelic influences behind to show their passion for black sounds, painting their beat rhythms with Motownesque soul and southern blues and r&b with horns and organ arrangements. For the first time, the band has recorded only originals. The eleven songs are the sum of all The Sick Rose's musical influences - from the Garage Rock of the early days, to the R'n'R of the 2nd album Shaking Street, on to the Power Pop characterising the group's later records. The new album is partly inspired by the sound of bands from the early 1980s, such as Records, 20/20 and Shoes.
SOMEPLACE BETTER comes out of a constant search for new ways of expression, while ignoring transient fashions and knowing always how to be in the right place at the wrong time!)

The Skeptics - Lonely, Black And Blue Lp
(Chances are, if you picked this record, you know what you're headin' for. If you don't, let me tell you this; you'd better gear up for an unhealthy dose of raw garage punk. But what makes this band all so different from any other garage punk outfit out there, I hear you say? Well, maybe it's the fact that the band doesn't fuck around with superfluous crap and certainly manages to keep it simple and efficient. That could be explained by the fact that what is now a full-blown band (well, a three-piece to be exact), started as a one-man project in a dirty garage somewhere (OK I actually don't know WHERE it started but I assume it's a garage). So maybe Bart (Vox & guitar) was limited by his ability to play all the instruments back then and it showed in his compositions, but most likely, he just knows how to write a good garage song! But don't think that the Skeptics went all fancy 'cuz Bart got himself a real band (that's Kristal on bass & vocals and Xavier on drums). The songs sound as vicious as ever and the formula stays the same, thick fuzz, skin bashing, gnarly vocals and straightforward riffs. And yet, we're led to believe that those garage-heads dig stuff other than their '60s punk comps if we're to listen to their fuzz-driven rendition of Chrissy Zebby Tembo's 'Troublemaker'. And I gotta say, that's another point for the Skeptics, cause who seriously wants to hear another cover of Wildman? Anyway, I'm not gonna go into much more details about the sound of the Skeptics cuz if you're reading this, the record can't be that far and you should just give it a spin instead of wasting your time with my rambling. Nine songs that merge sounds from the second half of the '70s and atmosphere of the Scandinavian scene in the beginning of millennium.
The topics covered in this new work concerning the man 's relationship with the rules that he impose to himself and to the community around him, creating limits and boundaries that contribute to the poorness of individuality.
"Authorize Yourself" wants to be an incentive to get out of the box, questioning your world and its certainties, an incentive to break those rules to escape from the globalization of personality)

(Two years after their last studio work, The Smoking Bones release "Down to the High", first song out since the new frontman's inclusion in 2019.
"Down to the High" is a 7" vinyl single distributed by the Area Pirata label and also available in digital format on all online stores. On A side there's the song that gives the title to the new release. On B side we find "Burning Love", an Elvis cover, reinterpreted by the guys with more garage sounds and more thrusts. With "Down to the High" the band pushes on territories so far unusual compared to previous works, mixing Hard Blues vocal melodies and '70 Rock 'n' Roll with round and powerful sounds.
"Down to the High" is a play on words that alludes to the moment between the fall and getting back on your feet, the flat calm that precedes the adrenaline, where you give meaning to that fall, you find a way to go back but, above all, the inspiration for a new story to tell)

The Solarflares - Can Satisfy You LP
(Britpop? Monged out berks in kagouls peddling poor rehashes of Rutles tunes and/or a lone JB beat? *blows raspberry* Meanwhile, down in Kent, ‘tween 1999 and 2003, much more interesting tuneage was afoot. Former Prisoners / Prime Movers cohorts The Solarflares had further distilled the myriad pleasures of hard-edged, soulful 60s beat-psych, powerhouse guitar/organ instrumentals, and world class (but never wanky) riffage into a classy package, replete with memorable, groove-heavy tunes with knockout harmonies and that big, bad beat. It's fair to say that messrs Graham Day (guitar, vocals), Allan Crockford (bass, vocals), Wolf Howard (drums, vocals) and, latterly, Parsley (organ, vocals) deserve more acclaim, even from diehard fans of The Prisoners and their many other combos, which is where these three most welcome reissues come in...
"Psychedelic Tantrum", originally issued by Anglo-German label Twist in 1999, is an invigorating, intoxicating mix of suss and strut, hitting yer lugholes running with the searing "Mary" and running through the dancefloor-friendly instro "Apollo Go-Go" to the tripped-out "Shadow of the Past" and a mighty take on The Misunderstood's "Find a Hidden Door". To say it's quite a debut is a bit of an understatement, and as with the rest of their output, it sounds gloriously rich and timeless, like it could have been recorded at any point since late-1966...
"That was Then... and so is This", their sophomore set, came out on Twist in 2000 and features less gloriously distorto production but don't let that fool ya into thinking it's a slouch - no sir. The album's expanded, richer and more defined (dare I say, cinematic?) sonic palette encompasses kinetic acoustic riffery ("Miles Away"), fuzztastic beaters ("Sucking Out My Insides") and the obvs Gerry Anderson-inspired ("Angel Interceptor") - tis a stone pleasure, indeed!
And then we come to the ‘official bootleg', as Allan calls it, namely "Can Satisfy You", which the band put out on their Own Up label in 2003. Is this collection of live and studio cuts less than essential? Is it bollocks... no drop in quality, when it comes to corkers like the ‘electric' version of "Miles Away" with Parsley's killer organ that turns it into a mid-60s club soul classic, or on the slew of dynamite covers, which tell you more about where their heads were/are at better than anything I can write ya, including Wimple Winch's "Save My Soul", Ramones' "Glad to See You Go", Fire's "Father's Name is Dad" and the Sharon Tandy/Fleur de Lys/Rupert's People classic, "Hold On", the latter with Parsley on vocals, sounding like Don Fardon's big bruvva!
So there you go, yer lucky buggers. Another three slices in the (thankfully) continuing history of properly unproper British rock'n'soul. As the Damned used to say, "Play it at your sister." And if you're an only child, well...)

Everything about the band was right - the clothes, the haircuts, the sound, the attidude and as a first appreciation the Russian band the Cavestompers invited them to play a show in Moscow. Not only that but one year later they recorded their 2nd album live at the Doo-Dah King bar, Minsk, which never saw the light of day and soon after this recordings the band fractured. This double vinyl here is an almost definitive over-view of the bands early recordings. Featuring a crystal-clear sound and lyrics about spring, girls, love and without any vulgarity or affectation they have laid down some mighty pure Beat/R&B/British Mod sounds. The first disc features the bands debut album of distinctive 60's sound in the vein of early The Kinks, The Action, Small Faces, The Who and of course the Beatles, with chirpy vocals by Alex Stampleton being reminiscient of Steve Marriot or Ray Davies in their best days. The second disc features the previously unheard songs from their unreleased 2nd album of pure amphetamine fuelled excitement from the first minute to the last. Comes in deluxe gatefold edition w/ extensive sleeve notes, lyrics & photos. rom the first minute to the last. But wait.... The Stampletons are back on the map today! They've changed their line up a bit and their sound is now more embedded in 60's psychedelia and baroque pop. Best of all they've already got the attention of British producer Fran Ashcroft. The Spider In The Clock ends side 1 and is very Syd Barrett influenced. Side B begins with My Garden, a short track with some really nice wah guitar. Strange Girl is a nearly 17 minute track that begins with some beautiful and melodic guitar as the track winds its way around your mind and casually develops into a really psychedelic soundscape trip. Now these guys are in their mid 70s, half of them are in a better world already, and modern young boys mostly don't know about their existence. But all modern music is still heavily infected by this taint. At least, that's what we believe in. The Trip Takers - Don't Back Out Now LP
(The Trip Takers are an Italian band suspended in the limbo between the conservatism of vintage sounds and the genuine and sincere "revivalism". The result is a sound that is clearly recognizable from the point of view of conceptual influences but vividly peculiar at the same time.
Here's their debut album!!)

The Trip Takers - The Trip Takers EP 12"
("The Trip Takers" project starts from the bases left in the mid-60s by bands such as Beatles and Byrds, to incorporate psychedelic atmospheres that expand the sound, making it addictive, thanks to organ and sitar on the front line. The instrumentation used and a recording technique deliberately far from the digital, but more inclined to the effects produced by the analogic, give a birth to a disc that, even if fresh and immediate, its far from contemporary productions to create incredibly authentic vintage atmospheres)

The Trip Takers - The Trip Takers Collection CD digipack
(It seems only a few days have passed since The Trip Takers presented their latest project.
This is because the band formed just 5 years ago, and yet, despite this small span of time, they managed to play an important role on the European psycho - garage scene. This achievement was possible thanks to the successful tours that saw them perform on several iconic music stages and to the publication of three vinyl gems that today are almost sold out:
- The homonymous debut: a mini album with six tracks released in October 2017.
- The 7" single "Jumper blues/another one" released in April 2018.
- The LP "Don't back out now" released exactly one year later, i.e. in April 2019.

By popular demand and for the first time, we are now introducing the band's discography in CD digipack edition.
Eighteen songs that take us back in time to those fabulous 60s, with their dreams and colours, R&B and psychedelia, such as to awaken our desire to see them live again soon! Luckily enough, their next extensive tour will start on 25 January 2020... so stay tuned)

The Ueckers - Rocket to Wrigley Cd
(THE UECKERS are not an oldies group, they are not a glitter group they don't play boogie music and they don't play blues. THE UECKERS are an original baseball punk band for 2013, and their songs are brief, to the point and every one a potential hit. The duo consists of J. Uecker and B.Uecker. The two guitarists, play with such force that their sound has been compared to a hundred howling howitzers going off. The two share singing responsibilities and the drummer's (yet to be named) pulsating playing launches the throbbing sound of the band. THE UECKERS all originate from the north side of Chicago and kids who grew up there became musicians, degenerates or dentists. THE UECKERS are a little of each. Their sound is not unlike the sound of a fast drill on a rear molar. With no budget, no cares and a constant soundtrack(and press release) lifted from THE RAMONES they show their undying love for baseball and punk rock with 14 blistering budget rock tunes that when paired with a cold Old Style will get you through the summer ahead. The Urgent Kicks - In the Wrong Place 7"
(The Urgent Kicks is the last sensation of punk-rock in Barcelona. Formed by five guys who sweat blood playing their instruments because that is the crux of the punk rock, and of life. Punk and Rock'n'Roll aren't disciplines to learn, is something which is in one's blood, or not, and the 11 minutes that last the 5 swift, vitaminized, and urgent songs included in this ep are enough to make clear that in these case really is in their blood. If you think that punk rock is made from a material distant to plastic, if you don't give a fuck fashion and looking, if the image of five guys giving everything on stage still excites you, and if you think that punk rock is more, much more, than the new trend of this spring-summer 2013, you'll love The Urgent Kicks cause they incarnate it as very few bands nowadays. "In The Wrong Place EP" proves it with strength, immediacy and conviction. How difficult is to find these attributes today!)

(Moscow's scene is pretty damn active lately. Along with The Thunderbeats LP, here's a new teen combo, The Vice wich is getting bigger and better and surely deserves your attention. Mixing jangly folk-garage-pop with hints of indie rock the lads have released a terrific four track debut-EP. Expecting to see them live in Europe pretty soon all you can do is enjoy the record, expecting also a complete album planned for early 2014. You'll probably find yourself singing around their songs in the shower or driving your car. Yes they're that catchy too! Last but not least the four track's housed in a beautiful purple illustration cover, courtesy of our artist Alessandra Monoriti, that captures the moodiness as well as the tension of this debut. (The Undisputed Kings of Garage Rock!

**Reissue of their classic singles compilation on 3 LPs with new gatefold sleeve!**

A retrospective compilation of singles released on a multitude of different labels throughout the 90′s. Featured tracks are '(We Hate The Fuckin') NME' 'My Dear Watson' & 'Every Bit Of Me'. A fitting tribute to one of the greatest bands ever.
Thee Headcoats were mainly Billy Childish (Git/Vox) Bruce Brand (Drums) and Johnny Johnson (bass), they formed in 1989 after Billy's previous band Thee Mighty Caesers gave up the ghost. By 1992 they had already released something like 6 albums and 15 singles one of which was catalogue number Damgood1, a split single with Thee Headcoatees.

During the '90′s I must have seen them 60 times, I even went over to Japan with them in 1993. There was something really natural about them, no bullshit. We did the 'We hate The Fuckin' NME' single after journalist Johnny Cigarettes walked out of their gig in Archway after insisting that he should get in for free as he was from the NME and then reviewing Thee Headcoatees by saying there were no girls in the band (he'd left before they came onstage!!).

Lots more releases followed including the great 'In Tweed We Trust' album. Thee Headcoats carried on touring and releasing records in every corner of the world until mid 2000 when they called it a day)

So they decided to teach the earthlings a lesson in good taste and stepped in the nearest pawnshop. All they could find was an old Farfisa organ, a 1964 Fender Jaguar and a fuzz box but they thought this old shit was good enough. Once they turned up the volume all hell broke loose..the songs were drenched with fuzzed out guitar and cheesy organ sounds.
